Sophia the Dog needs a home

Sophia has had a rough go of life, leading up to landing in the Haywood County Animal Shelter. The shelter had to have her shaved down because her coat was in such bad shape, but her coat is now growing back in making her a big fluff ball. She is at least eight years old and is a little wobbly in her hips. She looks like a big teddy bear, and is as sweet as one too--she has loads of personality! She's looking for a special home where she can live out her retirement years in peace while getting the pampering she has always deserved and never got.
